Happy Wednesday Gypsy Sisters!

WE HAVE BIG BIG BIG NEWS!  We will be on CMT’s Texas Women this Saturday at 8:00 in the evening Central Time, followed by our OCLICIOUS SISTER on Southern Nights!  We did a HUGE photo-shoot with Anna and Hannah and they filmed THE WHOLE THING!  I am not kidding mic-packs on all of us and all!  It was sooo cool!  SO this Saturday you can see the whole thing!!  A complete behind the scenes look at one of our photo-shoots!  See our amazing style team in action, all of our AWESOME new ROCKIN’ Soule Gear!  Now I know I always say set your DVR’s, but this time it is a little different.  WE NEED YOUR SUPPORT GYPSY SISTERS, so WATCH IT LIVE!!  Throw a watch Party!!  Let’s show CMT that the GYPSY-NATION is EVERYWHERE!  Now for the best part – PRIZES!~

Photoshoot Week

It has been a CRAZY week here in GypsyLand.  We had a HUGE photoshoot this week, when I say huge I mean HUGE!!!!  It was a LONG day, but worth every minute and we can’t wait for you to see all of the photos, you are going to LOVE them.  Thank you to EVERYBODY who helped out with the shoot, we could not have done it without you.

Congratulations Robyn!!!!

I had many pictures to choose from all dressed up in official FFA dress; my years as a high school member, my year of service as an Arizona Association FFA State Officer, and again when I walked across the stage to receive my American FFA Degree. None of those photos seemed to fit as they did not capture the full meaning of the National FFA Organization like the photo I attached to this email.

This photo was taken at the World War II Memorial in Washington DC while I participated in the Washington Leadership Conference. This picture showcases the jacket; the traditional emblem with it’s deep roots and meanings, my home state and my hometown. The FFA instilled in me the importance of dedication, leadership and, of course- agriculture. :)

World War II veterans fought for our country. They were leaders. They were dedicated. they were strong. The BELIEVED. Some of them may have even been members of the FFA. I remember thinking these things as I stood at the base of the Arizona pillar of the memorial.

FFA means so many things to so many people. It means believing in something. It means agriculture. It means belonging. It means leadership. It means hard work. It means perseverance. It means whatever each individual wants it to mean, but no matter what it will always mean an organization changing the lives of all through agriculture.

National FFA Week

It’s National FFA Week!  Since 1928, the FFA has been molding and shaping our future and we want to celebrate the FFA!  Let’s give something away, shall we?  How about our rockin’ Sugar Skull Tee.  I love this shirt, not only is it just one of the coolest things in the world, it is super comfy!  So since it is National FFA Week, this is an FFA contest.  (Don’t worry 4-H’ers we will celebrate with you in October during National 4-H week)  Send in your pictures of you rocking’ your FFA jacket!  They can be 20 years old or just taken today if you are a current student.  Now there is no real way to check and make sure you were really in the FFA, so please be honest and only enter if you were/are a member of the FFA.  Email pictures and why FFA was/is important to you to contest@gypsysoule.com by Friday at midnight, winner will be announced Monday.  Ready.  Set.  GO!!!!

I think That it’s important to follow no one in personal style and in life. Life is to short to worry about what other people think.  We all know That our time on earth is short, so we should spend it following our own heart our own dreams and our own path! I want people to remember me as someone who was unique and and free spirited.  I tell my son every day that it’s ok to be different.  People that are different and not better than us or worse than us just different, and that’s ok.  What is right is not always popular and what is popular is not always right! Words to live by gypsy sisters so follow no one!

Wednesday Wrap-up

Wow, what a week already.  We have been so busy.  Orders are shipping out everywhere, Amy & Lo are still rocking in Vegas, this weekend is the Junk Gypsy Prom….I haven’t had time to catch my breath!  So instead of wrapping up this week on Friday, I need to do a mid-week wrap up just to catch all my Soule Sisters Up!

First off Angie Meadors will be in the Best Hat Store Booth 1831 at the Convention center today @ 1:00 in Vegas signing autographs.  She is AWESOME and WE LOVE HER! Next up look who has made the news!!!  WE DID! WE DID!

Okay, believe it or not there is more…Check out our awesome fashionistas on Tough Enough to Wear Pink day!Well as if those outfits weren’t enough sparkle and glam, Amy and Lo managed to add to it, with Sparkle Josh Johnson.  Some of you may remember him from HGTV’s Design Star. Josh is AMAZING and WE LOVE LOVE LOVE him (oh and I so want his jacket)Those are his FABULOUS creations in the background, here is a better picture of just the tree which is SUPER FAB! Make sure and show Josh some love on his website www.sparklejosh.com, OMG I just had the most amazing idea/dream/fantasy – Sparkle Josh and The Junk Gypsies should totally come redecorate my house.  Talk about awesome, that would be awesome.  :) I think I will have my people call their people, but don’t worry I won’t hold my breath!  I bet you think I am done, don’t you….nope not even close!
